The Building
The Pershing Square Signature Center, Signature Theatre Company’s new Frank Gehry-designed home on 42nd Street, is one of New York’s most exciting additions to the cultural landscape.
The Center creates an unparalleled and intimate experience, allowing Signature to expand programming and support more playwrights than ever before. The Center is comprised of three unique theatre spaces, two studios, a dynamic, shared lobby with a café, bookshop, and concierge desk, and administrative offices that span 70,000 contiguous square feet in MiMA, a mixed-use Related Companies development. Working in close collaboration with one of the world's most renowned and imaginative architects, Signature has created a space designed to further our mission of honoring and celebrating playwrights by encouraging and enhancing the interactions between our world-class artists and our broad, diverse audience.

Your experience at The Center goes far beyond what is happening on the stage.
The 294-seat Irene Diamond Stage is modeled after Signature’s Peter Norton Space and will expand upon the intimate and immersive Signature experience.
This 191-seat flexible courtyard theatre adapts to the optimal audience configuration for each production.
The 191-seat Jewel Box Theatre is modeled off a traditional opera house, but in miniature, to provide a unique engagement between performers and audience.
